Overview

Embleton Bamboo flooring Engineered to Perfection It is the hot press strand woven manufacturing process which ensures the high density, hardness and stylish appearance of Embleton Bamboo. Using the finest quality raw material, sourced from managed forests to ensure consistency in appearance and quality, individually selected strips of bamboo are laid horizontally and then ‘hot pressed’ under very high load to create a compressed sheet from which the 14mm floorboards are cut. After hot pressing, which allows for an even release of moisture from the bamboo, the sheet is left untouched for one month to release stress from the bamboo. This results in greater stability in the finished boards, offering less likelihood of movement once laid. This crucial resting time also allows the formaldehyde to be released, ensuring that Embelton Bamboo easily meets the E1 European standard on formaldehyde release.

Product Details

Embleton bamboo offers 11 bamboo flooring colours, 7 in a smooth finish, and four colours in our recently introduced hand scraped range. Coated with 10-12 layers of Klumpp Coating, Embleton Bamboo is finished with a 45% semi-gloss to further enhance the stylish appearance of bamboo. Coffee and Natural are the original and most popular bamboo flooring colours in our range. For those wanting slightly more feature in their bamboo floor, Daintree and Nullarbor are good options, and involve light staining of Coffee boards (for Daintree) or Natural Boards (for Nullarbor) to give it a more rustic look. Our newest colour, Pilbara, is a stunning mix of lighter and darker Coffee coloured boards, the closest thing to Spotted Gum in Bamboo. Uluru and Snow Limed Bamboo are fully stained bamboo colours, with two extra coatings (12 in total) to achieve their rich colouring. It also has the added benefit of giving the floor extra stain resistance. Embleton bamboo hand scraped Bamboo colours, Beach House, Antique Bronze, Bondi and Kakadu are proving to be exceptionally popular, suitable for both traditional designs and modern interiors Embleton Bamboo comes with a 4 sided locking system for quick and easy installation.
